About Kate

Kate is an artist who specializes in still life flower paintings as well as landscape and estate paintings in oils and watercolors. Through her impressionist style, she aptly expresses the grandeur of nature in a bold and radiant manner.

Kate holds a BA in Art History from Wheaton College in Norton, MA. She studied Fine Arts at The Museum of Fine Arts School in Boston for three years after graduating from Wheaton. While studying at the Museum school, Kate also attended the Rhode Island School of Design on an exchange program where she concentrated on oil painting. At Brown University she also completed a Masters class in Art History on Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel. She has exhibited locally over the past several years and has received an Award of Excellence for painting from the Somerset Art Association in Bedminster, NJ, where she has been a member for 10 years. She has also received other awards of distinction from juried art exhibits.

Kate is also skilled at floral arranging as you will see in our Photo Gallery and in our Decorating with Prints screens.
